I Need To Lose 25 Pounds

April 23rd, 2003

“I need to lose at least 20-25 lbs. in six weeks. Is that possible? If so how can I do it?”

Liam’s Answer

All things are possible. The average arm weighs about 25 pounds, so if you don’t mind going through the rest of your life with the nick name “Lefty”, I’d say losing it in a nasty accident with a garbage compactor is a good option.

Chris’ Answer

The average human body is 75% water. 1 litre of water weighs a kilogram. So losing weight is really about losing water.

I bet you try to drink at least six glasses of water a day, right? Well, that’s 1.5 kilograms. A day. Or 10.5 kilograms a week! 90 kilograms in six weeks.

All you need to do is stop drinking all fluids for six weeks, and your weight problems will be over.
