“I am in a love triangle..
I have a boyfriend that loves me so much, but I don’t love him the same way because I like another guy a lot..
I liked this guy before being in relationship with my boyfriend. I thought he wanted us to be friends because he didn’t have time for me. I accepted it, but still liked him.
Later on, when he found out that I have a boyfriend, he told me that he misses me and thinks about me almost all the time.
He regretted that he lost his chance.
I dont know how to dump my boyfriend without hurting him. Help me!”

Nancy, I don’t mean to get pedantic on you or anything, but before I answer your question, I’d just like to clear up a misconception. You’re not in a love triangle. Triangles have three sides, as well as three points. For a true love triange, Peter would love you, you would love John, and John would love Peter.
You are more in a love V. Peter loves you. John loves you. You love John. It’s a shame for Peter that you don’t love him, but life isn’t always easy.
The best thng your can be with your boyfrend is honest. Explain to him that you’ve found someone better. Tell him that you don’t need to settle for second best, and that’s why you’re leaving him. Gently explain to him that you always fancied someone else, and were only ever dating him until someone better came along.
I can’t guarantee this won’t hurt him, but it will certainly stop him from being in love with you, which is what you really want.
